The JHH 5th Grade Chorus was established to recognize those students who exemplify talents in the area of singing.  Membership is open to all rising 4th and 5th graders who audition at a qualified level.

The Ukulele Club begins in the winter with students interested in playing the ukulele and performing a concert in the spring. 

The Rockdale Honor Chorus is a chorus made up of 10 students from each elementary school in Rockdale County.  Students from the 5th grade chorus audition in December.  The students participate in the county’s performance during the 3rd quarter.

The WJHH Eagle News Crew Club was established for the purpose of providing a format to inform all J.H.H. students of the schedule of events within the school through a daily news show.  Also, the News Crew utilizes the news show to promote school spirit, celebrate individual and group accomplishments, and to promote attendance.  Membership is open to  fifth grade students whose applications are accepted based on previous good attendance, responsibility, teacher recommendations, and availability of slots to be filled.

The News From The Nest newspaper team consists of fifth graders that manage, edit and compose the school newspaper.  Students conduct interviews and share important information and happenings in our school.

The Reading Bowl Team was established for members to read at least four of the Georgia Book Award Nominees. Members review and discuss the books in preparation to compete for spots on the Reading Bowl Team.  Ten members will be selected to compete in the Rockdale County Reading bowl.

The Technology Fair allows students to "showcase" and compete in technology based cagetories and fields while sharing technology skills and knowledge with all stakeholders.

The Mathletes team practices and competes with all elementary schools in the Math 24 competition.
