CTAE Student Organizations

Students may participate in organizations that help prepare them for future careers by offering leadership opportunities, real-work work experiences, and career skills development. For information about these organizations, please talk with your CTAE teacher.

DECA
Distributive Education Club of America is a student-centered, educational/professional organization with a program of leadership and career development designed specifically for students enrolled in marketing education. Marketing education prepares students for rewarding careers in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. DECA enhances that education by providing marketing-related activities based directly on classroom study.

FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda is a nonprofit education association of students preparing for careers in business and business-related fields. The FBLA Mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

FCCLA

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. is a nonprofit national career and technical student organization for young men and women in family and consumer sciences education.

FFA

The FFA is a national organization dedicated to preparing members for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. Local, state and national activities and award programs provide opportunities to apply knowledge and skills acquired through agriculture education.


HOSA
HOSA is an international student organization. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA provides a unique program of leadership development, motivation, and recognition for students enrolled in health science education.

SkillsUSA 

SkillsUSA is national organization that provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, work attitudes and communications skills.  SkillsUSA also promotes understanding of the free enterprise system and involvement in community service activities.

TSA

Technology Student Association is a national, non-profit organization for students with an interest in technology. TSA members learn problem-solving, decision-making, critical thinking and leadership skills as they relate to design, communications, power, energy, transportation, engineering, manufacturing, and construction.
